Funny Story: How to Write Satire with Jasper Joyner

Join us for a satire writing workshop that brings comedy and a magnifying glass to some of life’s biggest issues. Some notable satire? Clueless! The film is based on a book called Emma. Then there’s the novel Fight Club, which later became a cult classic. It satirizes consumer capitalism and gender constructs. In this class, you’ll learn how to spot satire, how to write it, and then we’ll each pen an original short story based on one of your favorite topics or works of art. This class is great for all skill levels.
