About the event
Join us for a fun afternoon of collaging and having some drinks! Many artists have made incredible art through the medium of collage. Like Martha Rosler, an artist renowned for her focus on feminist themes who used collage as a potent tool for social critique; Hannah Höch, who emerged as a figure in the Dada movement; even Matisse who became a collage artist out of Necessity.
Feel free to bring any of your own paper media or mementos you would like to incorporate. or feel free to use what's provided. (You'll be provided with canvas, scissors, brushes, Modge Podge(clear drying glue), books, magazines, wallpaper samples, paint, colored pencils, and more!)Can't wait to see what you all create!
