You are welcome to have an assistant backstage, but we ask that you limit your backstage presence to 2 people.
Do I have to sew my own designs?
Your garments do not have to be sewn by you, but must be your designs exclusively. We ask that all designers have pieces to sell at a MFW sponsored trunk show, so garments should be produced at a consumer ready level.

All applications must be in by January 31, 2020. You will be notified of participation by February 16, 2021.
What are photo submission guidelines?
All photos must be professional quality and shot on either a model or mannequin. Full length images of garments are required along with photos of featured design elements. A shot of the full collection being submitted must be included. The more high quality photos to represent your band and collection the better. To send additional images please contact memphisfashionweek@gmail.com
Can I show my collection at other fashion events?
Yes. We do not require you to debut your line at MFW.
What season should my collection be?
Spring/Summer 2021
What time commitment is required?
We ask that you be available April 10-17, 2018 for events leading up to MFW as well as for trunk shows held on your behalf.
Are travel accommodations provided?
No. You will be responsible for your own travel and hotel. We do have discounted rooms available through MFW partnerships.
Is this a competition?
No. This is not a competition, but a way for you to showcase your collection to consumers and buyers in the Memphis market. This is why we require designers to be actively selling their collection either in stores or online.
