Drawing & Painting
Work one-on-one with a professional artist who will evaluate your skill level and help you to find your voice within your art. Lessons can be broad or focused depending on the student’s desired outcomes.
There will be an initial 15 minute phone or Zoom interview with you and your instructor so they can meet your goals
Students should bring their supplies with them to Arrow. Guidance in supply shopping is available.
Throwing - (up to 4 people)
In a 2.5 hour private lesson you have undivided attention to try your hand at wheel throwing. Students should expect to complete 3-4 cylinders or small bowl shapes. Arrow’s staff will oversee bisque firing, glazing, and final firing of your pieces.
Pottery wheel lessons are recommended for ages 16+ or younger students with previous experience.
In a 2.5 hour private lesson you have undivided attention to explore creating with clay. Students can create cups, plates, bowls, flower pots, trays, character sculptures, etc.
Pottery wheel lessons are recommended for ages 13+
Arrow’s staff will oversee bisque firing for your pieces and will arrange a time for you to come back to glaze your pieces for the final firing. Price includes 12 lbs of clay, tools, supplies, and firing.
You will work one-on-one with a professional fashion designer and learn to create from commercial patterns, design and create your own patterns, sew using Arrow’s sewing machines and fit items to your measurements. From streetwear to couture, you will explore the different avenues one can take to bring your designs to fruition and discuss options for preparing designs for production.

Students should come prepared with 3-4 yards of fabric of their choice (assistance can be provided to find the best fabric for your particular garment and skill level)
